Lyn Richardson operates her real estate business from the heart of the Capertee Valley, at Eurella in the Upper Nile tract at Glen Alice. Lyn has lived in the valley for twelve years.
Previously Lyn has worked for Elders, Camden, The Professionals, Camden, Raine and Horne, Mudgee and in her own business Capertee Valley Real Estate in a career which spans over 25 years. Lyn is a licensed Stock and Station agent and Real Estate agent who has been a leading sales lady in her field throughout her career.
Lyn’s background prior to real estate was in the Thoroughbred Industry as a bloodstock agent, working for Hyperion Thoroughbreds in Sydney and also in Ireland at Gilltown Stud. Previously to that career of ten years, she was a policewoman from a teenager in a time when women were uncommon. She was appointed to the Mounted Police Unit as part of the first intake (of just two women) who were the first women appointed in Australia to ride horses in any State Police Force. Lyn resigned from the Queensland Police Force as a Senior Constable to attend two years full time study at Orange and Hawkesbury Agricultural Colleges to achieve her Associate Diploma of Horse Management.
Lyn works side by side with her grazier husband at Glen Alice where they breed beef cattle, sheep and horses. Bruce Richardson has resided at “Eurella” for 50 years and has been a fabulous support to Lyn with her real estate businesses with his wealth of local knowledge. They share the responsibility of raising Lyn’s daughter Courtney who is a keen equestrian, like both Lyn and Bruce.
With a varied background with people and the land, Lyn brings knowledge and understanding to the arena of vendors and purchasers alike. She has a sound local knowledge of the community and the features that attract so many investing in the valley.
“Her local knowledge assists confidence to newcomers wishing to invest in the valley”
